Diagostic Bone Marrow Biposy Anticoagulant Services
DVT, Pulmonary Embolism, Atrial Fibrillation and Cardiac Valves all require that the patient’s blood is anticoagulated using a drug such as Warfarin. It is important that the drug's effect is carefully monitored.
At Haematology London, we provide a comprehensive service based on Out-patient testing of the INR at 111 Harley Street and the Out-patient departments of HCA's Hospitals.
In addition, for those patients on long term anticoagulation who wish to be more independent, we provide quality assurance and training for their self testing of INR using CoaguChek® and HemoSense® or similar meters.
